Emface: Modern Facial Muscle Therapy for Comfort and Aesthetics

At Smile.Li Dental, we look at both comfort and appearance when treating the face and jaw. Traditional TMD care focuses on joints and bite. Emface adds a new layer by targeting facial muscles with gentle, device based technology.

Emface uses synchronized radiofrequency (RF) and HIFES (High Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation) to strengthen, tone and relax key muscle groups, which can ease jaw tension and improve facial balance.

How Emface Works

During an Emface session, small applicators are placed on the forehead and cheeks. These pads deliver two types of energy at the same time:

• Radiofrequency (RF) lightly warms the tissue, supports circulation and stimulates collagen and elastin.
• HIFES energy contracts and re educates facial muscles, similar to a focused workout for the face.

Over a series of treatments, this combination helps supportive muscles work better while calming overactive ones.

   We review your symptoms, examine your jaw and facial muscles and discuss both comfort and cosmetic goals.
2. Personalized plan
   We design a sequence of Emface sessions, often combined with TMD or sleep therapy when needed.
3. Relaxed treatment sessions
   Each session lasts about 20 minutes. You feel rhythmic muscle contractions and gentle warmth, and you can return to normal activities right away.
